Summer Salads
A classic creamy coleslaw, spicy cous cous or French dressing pasta, our range of salads are freshly prepared by our chefs. We love developing delicious new products here at Cheerbrook & we've added two new salads to our deli range this month: tangy cheese & chive coleslaw & roasted squash, beetroot & feta salad.
Try our cheese & chive coleslaw with our roast ham on a soft floury bap. Our squash beetroot & feta salad is a lunch in itself, or equally delicious with a crisp baby leaf salad & a wedge of Snapes' artisan bloomer.
Crisp Pastries
Perfect finger food, our sausage rolls, pork pies & Scotch eggs are all handmade, daily, by our bakers with free-range pork from our butchery, free-range eggs & crisp buttery pastry. Our signature pastries include a range of specialty flavours with brie & cranberry pork pies, maple & mustard Scotch eggs & caramelised onion sausage rolls. Flavour Packed Fruit Juices
Refreshing & packed with real fruit, Alison's cordials & Ollie's Orchard apple juice are ideal to quench your thirst on a warm summers day. Both local Cheshire producers, with Ollie's Orchard producing apple juice from Eddisbury Fruit Farm in Kelsall & Alison's Homemade from Sandbach.
Try mixing Alison's fresh strawberry cordial with lemonade for a spritzer style soft drink, made with real fruit the flavour is clear & crisp. Perhaps even drop in a frozen strawberry or two to keep it chilled.
A Sweet Slice
Our baker, Ian, fills our bakery range with dozens of sweet slices, sponges, loaves & tarts to tempt your sweet tooth. Tray bakes are ideal to pack for a picnic, minimal mess, simple to serve & of course delicious! Our core range includes indulgent chocolate brownies, flapjacks, millionaires shortbread & crumbly chocolate tiffin. For double the indulgence Ian has created his millionaires flapjack, new to our range this month, with oaty flapjack, creamy caramel & marbled chocolate topping. Full of fuel for your countryside walks!
Did you hear, dining in is the new going out! On a cold Autumn evening, enjoy delicious food & a tipple with friends & family. Be inspired, with dishes from our charity recipe book (click to open recipes): American night - Sticky ribs , buttery corn & our deli's creamy coleslaw. Topped off with an indulgent cheesecake, handmade in our bakery. Friday night fake-away - whip up our butter chicken recipe, using your slow cooker. Across our farm shop, butchery, deli & café we work with over 40 local suppliers, to bring you the best local food the region has to offer. With locally made fudge, hand pressed cider & freshly baked bread; fill your basket with delicious local food & drink, here at Cheerbrook. Bidlea Dairy of Holmes Chapel, supply fresh milk to our farm shop & café. The Brown family have been raising the Bidlea girls for three generations on their farm in Holmes Chapel; the herd’s bloodline can be traced back 100 years! With over 900 Holstein-Friesian cows, current farmers Adam & Becky have created the Bidlea brand, taking milk & cream into local farm shops, delis & cafés. Most recently Bidlea have ventured into ice cream production, in their farm based dairy. Grazing on luscious Cheshire grass, the herd spend the majority of the year outside, producing milk rich in protein & butter fat. Happy cows make the best milk! Taking pride in their husbandry, the Brown family's happy herd produce full flavoured, nutritious milk. A relatively new addition to Cheerbrook, Bidlea now supply all of our farm shop & café milk, as well as their rich double cream, used by our bakers in our fresh cream cakes, egg custard tarts & quiches. We’re proud to support local farmers, just like Bidlea, in their diversification!
