At the very heart of Cheerbrook, our butchery encompasses all that we stand for; local meat, freshly prepared by our skilled butchers.
We believe in using nose to tail butchery, taking whole carcasses & utilising as much as we can across our butchery products, delicatessen & ready meals. Even supporting charities with our Bones for Bones campaign, offering meat bones for donations to BloodWise.
Just how you like it
Expertly prepared by our butchers, however you like it. Simply ask at our counter & we will trim, cut or prepare your meat to your liking. If you're feeding a crowd or would like to order a joint for an occasion, speak to our butchers or call us.

ANGUS BEEF
Across all of our butchery, deli products, ready meals & cafe we use Aberdeen Angus beef, from the Bourne family farm at the foot of Bickerton Hill, Cheshire.
Angus cattle are bred for superior taste & texture, dry aged for 21 days & expertly prepared by our butchers.
From our ultimate steak burgers, essential lean minced beef, through to our beef roasting joints, we believe using the best, beef results in the most scrumptious dishes.
LOCAL LAMB

Reared on Cheshire grass, our lamb is full of flavour & deliciously tender; sourced from the Moss & Massey family farms, in Middlewich & Macclesfield.
Our butchers use 'seam' butchery trimming to prepare all of our lamb to a high standard for the perfect roast lamb or chop every time.

Our pork is outdoor reared by Packington Farms of Staffordshire; the most local outdoor reared pork farm to Cheerbrook.
Happy pigs means delicious sausages & you can truly taste the difference in our handmade speciality sausages! You won't be spoilt for choice with dozens of seasonal varieties on offer each week on our butchery counter.
BRITISH CHICKEN
Choose from our range of oven ready chicken dishes on our butchery counter, recipes developed by us for convenient & delicious meals, including: goat's cheese chicken, lemon & chilli spatchcock, stir-fry & funky chicken.
